Dr. Dental®—Community

Doctor Dental®'s Aim is to Help Patients in Need of General Dentistry.

Valuing Knowledge, Integrity, Community®

Community, to Dr. Dental®, means continuation of over three decades of outreach to the community with dentists opening their doors to patients for oral health care regardless of their ability to pay. Good oral health is vital to overall health. We care.

Dr. Dental® founded in 2003 has been Providing Dentistry Services,
Charitable Dentistry Services and Projects Improving Patients' Lives including the
Lives of Underprivileged and Impoverished People Since 1979

Valuing Knowledge, Integrity, Community®

At Dr. Dental® we understand that your dentist is extremely important for overall health. It is great to have nice looking teeth—but teeth are needed for chewing. Teeth are used to begin the digestive process that fuels and keeps bodies healthy. Harmful build-up of plaque on teeth present problems for teeth as well as gums (periodontium). At Dr. Dental® patients are taught that healthy teeth, gums and breath are important.  The examination is key, as the oral cavity may show signs of systemic problems.

The mouth is a gateway to the whole body where harmful bacteria can descend upward toward the head or downward toward the lungs and heart. That is why seeing a General Dentist twice a year is important at any age.  Teeth, gums and mouth are a window pane into overall health for identifying possible initial evidence and indications of a not otherwise known general or systemic disease.

According to the Academy of General Dentistry®, more than 90 percent of all systemic diseases produce oral signs and symptoms. Please stay in touch with this site for more hand-outs that may be printed for self-educational purposes.  Note: These self-use pages may not be duplicated for distribution under any circumstances.
